A married contestant on Big Brother Naija Season 11 has become one of the standout talking points from the show’s premiere after revealing that her husband was against her decision to enter the house.
Abi, whose full name is Ayoola Abisola, a 25-year-old chef and model from Osun State, made the disclosure while introducing herself to host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s launch show. She said her husband questioned her reasons for wanting to join the reality programme and did not support the decision at first, though he eventually came around after she pressed ahead with her plans.
The housemate also shared that she and her husband first connected on TikTok, an online relationship that later grew into marriage. She said she intends to bring humour and a lively personality into the house, describing herself as someone who is stress-free and ready to embrace whatever the experience offers. Organisers introduced her as a scene-stealer, noting that she was not entering the competition to play a background role.
