Plans for Prosperous Nigeria, an initiative to celebrate Nigeria’s 66th Independence, inspire the youths and start conversations that would lead to a better nation is gathering momentum.
Conceptualized by Abiodun Oshinibosi of Abelinis Limited, the first-of-its-kind Nigerian independence countdown event is a nation building platform to encourage more informed, balanced and constructive conversations about Nigeria.
According to the organisers “Through the countdown to Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, the initiative highlights. credible progress across different sectors while acknowledging areas that still require attention, encouraging civic responsibility and inspiring Nigerians to see themselves as active participants.
The month long activities would be rounded off with a grand finale from 10.30pm-12.30a.m at the Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Ikeja, Lagos.
The event which is expected to be attended by business leaders, beneficiaries of grants’ programme, development experts, community leaders, government functionaries and media would have such activities as prayer for Nigeria, presentation 66 grant vouchers, motivational conversations, music and cultural expressions, 60 seconds fireworks display and live Independence Day countdown.
