Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu, has been disqualified from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions.
Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification on Monday after she refused to comply with instructions linked to a punishment arising from a Head of House challenge.
The reality show announced the development on its official Instagram page.
“Nomy (@_officialnomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.
“Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the game and gave her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house.”
Nomy had earlier received a strike and final warning for failing to follow Big Brother’s instructions.
The warning came after she refused to comply with the ‘benchwarmer’ outfit directive, which was imposed as punishment following her performance in a Head of House challenge.
Big Brother also warned Nomy that further violations could result in serious consequences.
Despite the warning, Nomy continued to defy the instructions, leading to Big Brother revoking her privilege to remain in the competition.
Her disqualification brings an end to her time in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house, meaning she will no longer compete for the season’s grand prize.
Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, is a 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur and owner of Ambition by Witme.
She joined the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house in July 2026 and became known during her time on the show for her outspoken personality, confidence and fashion sense.
Her stay in the house, however, was also marked by repeated disagreements with Big Brother over his instructions, ultimately culminating in her disqualification.
