Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Kylian Mbappe, has reportedly informed the club of his intention to leave this upcoming summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Mbappe conveyed his decision to PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, during discussions held on Tuesday.
However, the specifics of Mbappe’s exit are still being negotiated, with ongoing talks focusing on whether he will depart for a transfer fee or opt for a departure without compensation.
PSG is anticipating that Mbappe will adhere to his commitment of not leaving on a free transfer. Once an agreement is reached, an official announcement will be made jointly by PSG and Mbappe.
Real Madrid has emerged as a prominent destination for the 25-year-old forward. Mbappe is reportedly willing to accept a reduced salary to join the Spanish club, despite Real Madrid’s readiness to offer him the highest salary in their history.
