76 Suspects Arrested in Gombe State for Attempted Same-Sex Wedding

Date:

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe State arrested 76 suspects for their involvement in an attempted same-sex wedding.

Out of the suspects, 59 were males, with 21 of them confessing to being homosexuals.

The arrest was made when NSCDC officials foiled the plans for the same-sex wedding at Duwa Plaza along Bauchi-Gombe Expressway, during a homosexual birthday celebration.

The suspects will be charged to court for their involvement in a crime that is considered a social vice in Gombe State.

Additionally, the NSCDC arrested three individuals involved in illegal mining activities in the Akko Local Government Area of the state. Despite their claims to have a license, their documents revealed that they had approval for Laterite sand mining but were found mining coal instead.
