The Super Eagles’ loss in the AFCON finals prompted Rudeboy to question the cost of basic commodities like a bag of rice, urging Nigerians to come to terms with the facts.
In a post on social media, Rudeboy queried the current price of a bag of rice and even expressed interest in attending a nude protest if one were to be organized.
He wrote: “Now let’s all face reality!! How much be bag of rice? If you wan go protest and go n*cked me I de come watch. I need update of where and when ?😁😁”
On another platform, he reiterated the need for Nigerians to face reality, mentioning the prices of other essential items like fuel, cement, and the dollar.
Rudeboy’s call for Nigerians to confront economic realities sparked reactions from social media users, with many expressing concerns about the rising cost of living.
As discussions on the economic challenges facing Nigerians continue, Rudeboy’s message serves as a reminder for citizens to address pressing issues beyond the realm of sports.
