The chairman of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) branch of the Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria, Lucky Osesua, has called on its members to resume their work and uphold peace, law, and order.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Osesua emphasized the importance of members returning to work and abiding by the law. He mentioned that a previously planned media briefing had been canceled due to their case being in court, rendering the briefing unnecessary.
“We are not fighting anybody; all we want is justice. We want all our members to go back to their normal duties. Whoever molests them, they should not take the law into their hands,” he stated.
Osesua urged members not to engage in conflicts or disputes with anyone, emphasizing their commitment to peace and non-destructive actions. He stressed the need for peace in the country and encouraged members to report any instances of harassment to the appropriate authorities.
He concluded by asking those present to relay this message to members who were not in attendance.
