In light of the impending nationwide protests, the management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has urged students at both the Yelwa and Gubi campuses to remain calm and assured them of their safety.
This call was made on Tuesday as tensions rise over the planned demonstrations across the country.
The University management emphasized its commitment to the total safety of its students on both campuses. In a statement issued by Zailani Bappa, Director of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, the management reassured students that the campuses would remain secure, allowing them to continue their studies without interruption.
Despite the growing unrest, ATBU management has confirmed that normal academic activities will proceed as scheduled. Students have been advised to stay on campus, avoid unnecessary outings, and focus on their studies. The administration has implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure the safety and protection of all students during this period.
