The Court of Appeal, Lagos division, has affirmed Sen. Orji Kalu as the duly elected senator representing Abia North.
The court upheld the judgment of the national and state assembly petition tribunal, dismissing the petitions against Kalu as lacking in merit. Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha, the APC Chairman in Ebonyi, urged Kalu to use his victory to consolidate gains at the Senate.
Kalu, the Chief Whip of the ninth Senate, expressed gratitude for the court’s decision and reiterated his commitment to effective representation.
He was pleased with the judgment and called for unity among constituents for continued development.
