Renowned leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu, cautioning of dire economic consequences if urgent measures are not taken to address the current turmoil plaguing the nation.
In a statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating that without prompt intervention, the Nigerian economy may not stabilize until 2026.
The spiritual leader urged the government to prioritize security, stabilize food prices, ensure adequate electricity supply, and promote local industries to alleviate the burden on citizens and stabilize the currency.
Expressing skepticism about the efficacy of current government measures, Primate Ayodele cautioned that they could exacerbate inflation rather than alleviate the economic crisis.
He warned of a grim future where the Naira could depreciate to N1,700 against the dollar, and the price of rice could skyrocket to N90,000 per bag, ultimately crippling the economy.
Primate Ayodele urged the authorities to abandon ineffective strategies and adopt practical solutions to avert the looming catastrophe, emphasizing the imperative of decisive action to safeguard the nation’s economic stability and the well-being of its citizens.
