The escape of two suspected armed robbers from a correctional facility in Katsina State has raised concerns among Katsina town residents.
While the exact date of their escape remains undisclosed, a senior police officer confirmed the incident occurred and was reported to the Katsina State Police Command on October 16.
One of the escaped suspects, Ibrahim Lawal, also known as Abba Kala, is a notorious car thief with multiple previous arrests, including armed robbery.
