In Ikorodu, Lagos State, a Chief Magistrates’ Court has ordered the remand of Adejoh Musa, 45, and Adamu Sule, 60, on charges of allegedly defiling a six-year-old girl.
The defendants, whose addresses were not disclosed, are facing charges of defilement.
Chief Magistrate Mrs. A.B Olagbegi-Adelabu, presiding over the case, remanded the accused at the Lagos Correctional Centre and deferred the proceedings to December 21.
The court awaits legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office.
According to the prosecutor, DSP Gbemileke Agoi, the defendants allegedly committed the crime on October 20, around 7:30 a.m., at No. 3, Aunty Kenny St. Anibaba, Ikorodu.
The charges brought against them fall under Section 137 of the Lagos State Criminal Code.
