Godwin Emefiele, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is scheduled to be arraigned before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday, facing charges related to fraud.
Emefiele was released on November 8 after spending nearly five months in detention over corruption allegations.
There are concerns that he might face re-arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following his arraignment.
The release came after Emefiele filed a fundamental right enforcement suit, led by his legal team headed by Mr. Matthew Burkaa, SAN.
