The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has initiated decisive actions to address growing insecurity and disunity in Northern Nigeria. ACF National Publicity Secretary, Professor Tukur Muhammad-Baba, revealed that the fo
um has formed two committees—one led by former SGF Alhaji Yayale Ahmed to promote peaceful coexistence and another chaired by ex-Army Chief Lieutenant General AbdulRahman Dambazau to address security challenges.
These steps follow concerns over the spread of banditry and terrorism, crippling the region’s agriculture and economy.
The ACF also seeks to address Northern Nigeria’s poverty and development issues while promoting unity among its diverse ethnic and religious groups.
