In Riruta, Nairobi, detectives are currently detaining four Nigerian men in connection with the tragic death of 25-year-old Charles Waga Otieno, a promising rapper, who reportedly plunged from the fifth floor of an apartment after a dispute with the aforementioned individuals.
According to reports, Otieno had gone to deliver a carpet to the apartment, occupied by the four suspects, located on the seventh floor. Allegedly, an argument ensued, leading to Otieno’s distressing actions of stripping naked and ultimately leaping from the building, resulting in fatal head injuries upon impact.
Despite being rushed to Coptic Hospital, Otieno was pronounced dead upon arrival. The motive behind his tragic decision remains unclear.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Lari, Kiambu County, authorities are investigating the suspicious death of Stephen Maina, a driving school instructor whose lifeless body was discovered adjacent to a funeral home. His demise adds to the concerning trend of homicides in the area, including the recent discovery of a woman’s body in Kinale Forest, believed to be a victim of rape and murder.
As investigations into these tragic events unfold, communities are demanding justice amidst growing concerns over safety and security.
