Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, also known as Madrina, has reached out to her colleague Davido following his loss at the 2024 Grammys.
Despite not being a fan of Davido, Cynthia Morgan expressed her belief that he deserved to win an award, which could have brought peace to the country.
Davido, who received nominations in three categories including Global Music Album – Timeless, Global Music Performance – Feel, and Best African Music Performance – Unavailable, unfortunately did not clinch any awards at the prestigious event held at the Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles.
Taking to Instagram, Cynthia Morgan shared her thoughts, expressing her sentiment that Davido should have received an award. She emphasized that granting him an award could have contributed to peace in the country. Despite their differing musical preferences, Cynthia Morgan extended her well wishes to Davido, hoping for better luck in the future.
In her Instagram story, she wrote:
“Not a fan of you but I feel say them for just give you one make we for get peace for this country.
Better luck next time my former fave @davido.”
