Nigerian music star Kizz Daniel has officially addressed and vehemently denied widespread rumors claiming that his bank accounts have been frozen by a court order.
In a statement released on Thursday, the singer, whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, dismissed the viral reports as completely false and a malicious fabrication designed to tarnish his reputation.
The rumors had alleged that the “Buga” crooner was ordered to pay €200,000 in damages, leading to the freezing of his assets, a story that quickly gained traction across social media and entertainment platforms.
Setting the record straight, the singer’s team issued a clear denial, stating, “Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story.”
Kizz Daniel, known for a string of international hits including “Buga,” “Woju,” and “Lie,” is one of Nigeria’s most successful Afrobeats artists and has built a formidable career with a strong global presence and a dedicated fan base.
