Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has made an exciting announcement about the launch of her film production company.
In an Instagram post, she introduced the Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) as her latest venture, describing it as a 360-degree media house that will handle all aspects of film production and provide public relations solutions for films.
Akindele shared her enthusiasm for FAAN and revealed that it had already been involved in the production of the film “Battle on Buka Street 2022” and an upcoming project titled “A Tribe Called Judah.” “Battle on Buka Street” became the highest-grossing Nollywood film in 2022, earning ₦640 million, and it recently became available on Prime Video.
The upcoming holiday drama, “A Tribe Called Judah,” which will make its theatrical debut on December 15, 2023, features a star-studded cast including Jide Kene Achufusi, Timini Egbuson, Uzee Usman, Tobi Makinde, Olumide Oworu, and many more notable actors.
While the storyline for “A Tribe Called Judah” hasn’t been revealed, Funke Akindele’s new venture into film production and her successful track record in the industry make it a project to look forward to.
